I am Linda Herman and as you can see I play an accordion. Yes, the A word. Ah, but this is no ordinary accordion. This is the Roland FR8X V Accordion or Roland FR4X Accordion. High tech has come to the accordion world.
I play music for ballroom dancing and easy listening throughout the Southern California area. I also play German, Italian, French, Irish and Latin. Originally I am from Iowa and use to play in ballrooms throughout Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. I moved to the Los Angeles area in 1984. Today I am a "one lady band", utilizing the highly electronic accordion and a Roland BK7M module or Ketron SD 90. I perform live - no backing tracks.
